FUSE Films

Eftihia’s journey was filled with adventure and passion, from her early days as a young girl recently married, to her decision to travel from Aidini to Greece with her mother and two daughters. On board the ship, she made a bold decision to seize life by the horns and live on her own terms.

An extraordinary woman who wrote tirelessly wherever she could, on napkins, cigarette boxes, and even bills. She smoked, passionately fell in love, and casually gambled in luxurious salons, but also in illegal basements. Despite living in a cruel and male-dominated world, Eftihia bravely asserted herself, becoming a teacher who then became an actress, performing in streets and theatres, and a poet who became the greatest Greek folk songwriter.
