Young Creatives Lab is a monthly program for young people to explore writing, art and creativity. In September, we’ll be joined by poet and writer Lia Dewey Morgan for an interactive workshop exploring poetry techniques. We’ll experiment with the way different modes of poetry writing allow for new explorations and understanding of self. Lia Dewey Morgan (she/they) grapples with the continuity and chaos present in contemporary living, using poetry as a toolkit to pry open our muddled moment. Her first book, Bath Songs, was published with local press nomorepoetry. Suitable for young people aged 12 to 18.
