SAM MARTIN - DIRECTOR

Sam Martin (He/Him) is a Deaf/Hard of Hearing Queer Creative producer and director, driven by a love for authenticity and people. His work seamlessly traverses both film and theatre, with a strong emphasis on the factual space and narratives derived from real-life experiences. Currently, Sam is directing his latest short documentary “Bombay to Bondi” while also curating the ongoing event PAH! Stories. PAH! is a captivating platform that amplifies the diverse and intersectional narratives of d/Deaf/HoH individuals. With a profound commitment to diversity, inclusion, and pride, Sam collaborates with others to break barriers, promote understanding, and spotlight stories that authentically represent his communities. Additionally, Sam’s active involvement on the boards of Deaf Rainbow NSW, Arts Access Victoria and Inclusive Rainbow Voices showcases his dedication to advocacy and community-building efforts within these community spaces.
