Stuck Up!

Arts Project Australia and Darebin Arts present Stuck Up! Original stencils on paper, pasted, posted and plastered for your viewing pleasure.

Multiple stencil screenprints in one and two colours pasted in and around the Chalice Church area in Northcote, where a large paste up already resides created by Arts Project artists and installed several years ago. Works printed in acrylics onto Fabriano cotton rag 300gsm, 35.5 x 50 cm present original concepts from Artists working out of the Arts Project Australia supported studio located in High street Northcote.

The paste up event will be filmed by the artists for social media content and publicity. As well as these original creations Arts Project the six participating artists will create new works to support the project and refresh the Arts Project paste up already on the wall in the church forecourt.

The posters will be pasted up on Friday, 9th September and will remain in situ for the duration of the festival. The Arts Project paste up already there will be refreshed on Thursday September 15th and 16th by Arts Project artist James MacSporran using stencils and paint to re-imagine the original design and clean up the damaged sections.
