Pickling demonstration at Meet the Makers Picnic
Join Open Table at Meet the Makers Picnic for this family friendly and engaging cooking demonstration aimed at educating and inspiring participants to minimise household food waste through innovative yet uncomplicated techniques!
Led by their delightful facilitators, this session will feature a demonstration of a speedy pickle recipe - a delightful solution for utilising those aging vegetables lingering in your refrigerator. Participants will also receive a recipe and a jar of pickles to enjoy at home!
Three sessions will run from 1.30pm to 3.30pm. Each session will run for 20-30mins with a short break in between.
Attendance is free, simply drop in on the day - no registration required.
We recommend you bring a small clean jar so you can take your pickles to enjoy at home!

Open Table is a not-for-profit community organisation focused on preventing food insecurity and food waste.
