Darebin Community Awards: Celebrating Local Heroes

You're invited to the Fifth Annual Darebin Community Awards Presentation Night

Presented by FUSE Darebin

Now in its fifth year, the Darebin Community Awards are the City of Darebin's highest accolade, celebrating our inspirational local heroes who dedicate their time and energy to making our city a great place to live, work, play and volunteer.

For the first time, we're inviting the Darebin community to attend the Award presentation night. Here's your chance to acknowledge the amazing community work that has been done to make a difference in Darebin.

Nine ‘local heroes’ will be awarded in these categories:

• Citizen of the Year
• Young Citizen of the Year
• Community Group of the Year
• Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Community Leader of the Year
• Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Emerging Young Community Leader of the Year
• Sustainability Award
• Lifetime Achievement Award
• CALD Elder Community Leader of the Year
• CALD Emerging Community Leader of the Year

So, come along and recognise those amazing individuals and organisations who've made outstanding contributions to the Darebin community.

• 6pm: Venue Open
• 6.30pm: Welcome to Country in Courtyard
• 7.15 pm: Guests move into the Stadium for the Presentation of the Darebin Community Awards.
• 8.30-9pm: Event Concludes
