Mopoke blends improvised music with south Indian and modern contemporary music. Aurora Darby (violin and voice), Keshav Yoganathan (percussion), Rory Brown (Double Bass) and Mat Robb (guitar and effects)

Mopoke are a Melbourne based quartet. Experimenting with the synthesis of various styles including, Indian, Classical and Spiritual Jazz, Mopoke bring together the sonic and rhythmic differences and similarities of these traditions through improvisation.
