FUSE Closing Party - Cancelled

It is with great disappointment that due to current information on Coronavirus (COVID-19), the decision has been made to cancel CLOSING PARTY on Saturday 28 March at Northcote Town Hall.

As you’re likely aware, the Federal Government has banned non-essential mass gatherings of more than 500 people. This decision has not been made lightly, however Darebin City Council is following the up-to-date advice of the leading authorities (DHHS and the Victorian Chief Health Officer) on the Coronavirus in relation to the safety of our staff and community.

At this point in time, other FUSE events in the wider program will be going ahead, please head to our news for up to date event information including event postponements, cancellations and new dates.

Celebrate the conclusion of the first ever FUSE with the huge FUSE Closing Party. Bringing together music, dance and fashion in a multidisciplinary extravaganza, curated by local musician Neda Rahmani in partnership with Multicultural Arts Victoria.

Haiku Hands

With an unquenchable thirst for good times and indulgence in all things art and pop, Haiku Hands pull together numerous talents to create an original and off-the-wall product; an unlikely but brilliant fusion of dance party and performance art.

Facilitating a revival of the synth-laden sound of the 80s, GL have cultivated their own evocative sound that is constantly reaching for the cosmos. The Melbourne duo’s distinctive concoction of gyrating analogue pop harnesses 80’s synths and style, transporting it harmoniously into the modern era.

Tina De Melo

Tina will be showing off her latest choreographies, collaborations and improvisations.

Kwame Tosuma

Dancer and Choreographer Kwame Tosuma aka KTD from Dance Energy Happiness will be delivering bursts of Solos, dance improvs and some interactive dance party styling.

Also featuring bar, food trucks, the FUSE Design Market and Fast Fashun workshops.
