Darebin Art Prize is a national multi-medium acquisitive art prize celebrating excellence in contemporary visual art.  

The Darebin Art Prize is a national multi-medium acquisitive art prize celebrating the outstanding work of contemporary Australian artists.

This leading exhibition brings contemporary artwork together across all media, from painting, drawing, photography, sculpture and craft, through to video art and more! The finalists are represented in this major exhibition which includes a $10,000 acquisitive prize and $1,000 People’s Choice Award.

Participating artists are eligible to win the following prizes:

  • First Prize (Acquisitive) $10,000

Bundoora Homestead Art Centre is thrilled to announce artist Nathan Beard as the winner of the Darebin Art Prize 2024 for his sculpture Tropical Flesh (ii).

  • People's Choice Award (Non-acquisitive) $1000

The Darebin Art Prize People's Choice Award will be open for voting at the Homestead until Friday 15 March, 4pm.
